MINUTES

          1.      Call to Order/ Roll Call-The Selectmen’s Meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM with First Selectman Murphy and Selectmen Mullane and Donahue present.

2.      Pledge of Allegiance

3.      Public Comments and Questions-A small group of citizens (Van Brown, Nita Kincaid, Tim Pelland and Mike Urgo) approached the Selectmen to discuss and ask permission and support for having a block style party here in the Village in order to attempt to bring the townspeople together, a brief presentation was provided. 

4.      Correspondence

5.      Minutes-A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Murphy to approve the minutes of June 21,2016, carrying.  3-0

6.      School Modernization RFQ for Construction Manager-Review and comments on draft scope, method of advertising and selection process.

7.      NSAA Run Status Report-No communications

8.      FY2016-2017 Budget –No report

9.      Discussion of possible options for changing Town government

         structure-

10.   Public Comments and Questions

11.   A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Donahue to add an item to the agenda to discuss the Town Hall Union Collective Bargaining Agreement, carrying.  3-0  Selectman Murphy made a motion to enter executive session at 9:48 PM seconded by Selectman Donahue, carrying.  Out of the Session at 10:08 PM.

12.  Ratification of Union Agreement-A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Mullane to ratify the 2016-2019 AFSCME Town Hall Collective Bargaining Agreement, carrying.  3-0
