MINUTES

First Selectman Shawn Murphy and Selectman Mullane traveled to Washington, DC to attend a hearing at the Longworth House Office Building of the United States House of Representatives.

The Selectmen left for Washington, DC at 6:00 AM and attended the Hearing and Selectman Mullane gave testimony, see attached.  After the Hearing the Board met with Representative Joe Courtney and his aide Alexa Combelic.  Also visited were Emily Smith of Senator Murphy’s office and EJ Toppin from Senator Blumenthal’s office.

The Selectmen were accompanied by Attorney Don Baur of Perkins Coie law offices, the town’s Indian affairs attorney.

The Selectmen returned to Connecticut at approximately 6:35 PM, no action was taken and no other business was conducted.
