Call to Order-7:00 pm with Selectmen Mullane, Donahue and Testa present.

Minutes-A motion was made to approve the minutes of April 29, 2014 by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Testa carrying. 3-0

1. Tribal Issues – Acknowledgement/Annexation Issues-Letter sent by North Stonington, Preston, and Ledyard to Howard Shelanski, Administrator, Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs with comments against new BIA regulations.
2. Permanent School Building Project Committee
A. Permanent School Building Committee Projects-No report
3. Status of Center for Emergency Services Project-Committee working on finalizing and design to stay within budget
4. Boombridge Road Bridge-No new data
5. Parking Lot/Brook Stone Walls-Work is again progressing
6. Hewitt Property
A. Dam Repairs- re-engineering-Bidding-Pending the possibility State funds of $450,000
7. Grant Applications/administration
Water Study Ex 92 x I95 -Consultants are working on project
2014 STEAP Grant Extension of Village Water System-No report from State to date

8. Budget 2013-2014-Will need an additional appropriation for Town Attorney’s line item

2. Selectmen’s Public Communications-No activity
3. Results of Referendum-May 5, 2014-The resolution to approve the expenditure of $46,990,000 for a school construction and renovation project failed. Conservation Commission correspondence regarding Rt.2 parcel-First Selectman will research
4. Speed Limit Warning sign placement-Selectman Mullane asked Board to comment on potential locations.
5. Affordable Housing presentation on foreclosed properties-General Discussion, Board agreed it would be OK if process can be accommodated.
6. Juvenile Review Board appointments-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Testa to reappoint Ansel Wayne Coats to a three year term on the Juvenile Review Board, and Anita Ames to a one year term, seconded by Selectman Donahue, carrying. 3-0
Public Comments and Questions-Robbie White was in to see if any further information was available regarding Selectman Testa’s concerns with the NSVFC oil tank removal.
