Call to Order7:01 PM with Selectmen Mullane, Donahue, and Testa present.
Public Comments and Questions
Minutes-A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Testa to approve the minutes, as amended, of June 17, 2014, carrying. 3-0
Correspondence
Boards/Commissions/Official’s Comments-Mark Perkins, NSVFC, Brian Elias, NSAA ,Chief Steinhart and other EMS Commission members were in to inform the Board that the new facility is now estimated at $8.5 million cost as opposed to the $6.36M
budgeted. Further cuts are not advised, Committee is working on grants and separate bidding on site work and have a third party do a detailed estimate of the project.

1. Tribal Issues – Acknowledgement/Annexation Issues-Working on extension letter to BIA on the comment periods on new acknowledgment regulations.
2. Permanent School Building Project Committee
A. Permanent School Building Committee Projects-Generator and installation for School Emergencies and Sealing and Crack Repair of Elementary School Parking Lot were discussed.
3. Status of Center for Emergency Services Project-See above
4. Boombridge Road Bridge-No report
5. Parking Lot/Brook Stone Walls and Paving-Close to completion pending the removal of a pole by A T & T
6. Hewitt Property
A. Dam Repairs- re-engineering-Bidding-Bids due June 30th
7. Grant Applications/administration
Water Study Ex 92 x I95 consultants are working on project
2014 STEAP Grant Extension of Village Water System-No new data from the State of CT, Office of Policy and Management.

8. Budget 2013-2014-Close Out-Working on June 30th close and Develop a Giveback Report for the Board of Finance

1. Incentive Housing Grant RFP-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Donahue to approve the selection of Milone & MacBroom to conduct the feasibility study on the town’s Wintechog Hill Road property
, carrying 3-0
2. Tax Refund(s)-Placed on hold, because of the variance between refunds and suspense list.

4. Executive Session-Selectman Mullane made a motion to enter Executive Session at 9:33 PM seconded by Selectman Donahue, carrying. Out of Session @ 9:50 PM, no action taken
