MINUTES
Call to Order-7:01 PM with Selectmen Mullane, Donahue and Testa present.
Public Comments and Questions-None presented
Minutes-A motion was made by Selectman Donahue to approve the minutes of July 15, 2014 as amended, seconded by Selectman Testa, carrying. 3-0
A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Testa to approve the minutes of July 22, 2014, carrying. 2-0-1, Selectman Testa abstained.
Bid Review and Award for the Hewitt Dam Project-Karl Acimovic was present and low bidders response was reviewed and it was agreed that more information was needed, name of mason to be used, staffing, view of his finished projects, questions
on dewatering, performance to other awarded work, as-built drawings, etc.

1. Proposed School Building Project-No response by BOE to email, nor by Finance or Ad Hoc PSPBC, will now set meeting date and agenda.
2. Tribal Issues – Acknowledgement/Annexation Issues-To date closest BIA Hearing is in Mashapee, MA. No hearings set in Connecticut, but towns will write a request to BIA to hold a hearing in Connecticut.
3. Permanent School Building Project Committee
A. Permanent School Building Committee Projects-Generator-Only one bid, local firm, good record, award bid of $31,134 Kohler. A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Testa to make the award to SNS Electric,
carrying. 3-0
School Driveway Sealing-Four bids
All State-$7,775
Magic Coating-$10,250
Asphalt Crack Repair-$16,647
CT Seal Coating-$20,440
After general discussion a motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Testa to award the contract to All State in the amount of $7775,
carrying. 3-0
4. Status of Center for Emergency Services Project-Working on a metal building concept which should bring project within original budget estimates.
5. Boombridge Road Bridge-Reported still on schedule
6. Parking Lot/Brook Stone Walls-AT & T is working on pole transition
7. Hewitt Property
A. Dam Repairs- Contract Award and Executive Session-No executive session, see above
8. Grant Applications/administration
Water Study Ex 92 x I95 consultants are working on project-Consultants are working on project
