1.           Call of a Special Town Meeting-February 25, 2013

DUI Grant

Southeastern Connecticut Regional Resource Recovery Authority Contract

Additional Appropriation for Arbitration Award

A special town meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in town meetings of the Town of North Stonington, Connecticut, will be held on the date indicated at the time and location noted below for the following purposes:

LOCATION:  New Town Hall Conference Room

DATE:  February 25, 2013

TIME:  7:00 p.m.

1.           To hear and act upon an additional appropriation request, as approved by the Board of Finance, of $50,625, line item BB 26.04 State Troopers for the FY 2013 DUI Highway Safety Grant.

2.           To hear and act upon the acceptance of the third amendment to the Agreement between SCRRRA and the Town of North Stonington, a municipality in the State of Connecticut to provide solid waste management services to extend the term of the agreement to and including February 17, 2017.

3.           To hear and act upon an additional appropriation request in the amount of $87,253, to line item, BB27.27, Public Works Storm Damage as approved by the Board of Finance.
