MINUTES
Call to Order-7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane, Donahue and Murphy present.
Public Comments and Questions-None presented
1. Review, Revisions and Approval of FY 2012-13 budget to forward to a Special Town Meeting.
Board of Finance called their meeting to order at 7:30 PM with Dan Spring, Emil Pavlovics, and Peter Nimirowski present.
Also present at the First Selectman’s request were Sandra Steinhart, Tax Collector, Robin Roohr, Town Treasurer, Darryl DelGrosso, Assessor, and Marc Tate, IT Manager. Robert Testa, Chairman of the Board of Education was also present.
The group had a general discussion of the budget referendum defeat and options for budget revisions. The public present made several comments on their ideas for reductions.
The Board of Finance requested that the Board of Education cut $300,000 from their budget and that the Selectman reduce spending by $200,000.
