Special Meeting –Board of Finance joint meeting with Board of Selectmen and Board of Education
1. Call to Order-6:05PM with Board of Finance members: Dan Spring, Emil Pavlovics, Mustapha Ratib, Peter Nimirowski and Brent Woodward. Board of Education: Robert Testa, Chris Hundt, Crystal Dame, Darren Robert, Dave McCord, Walt Mathwich, and Phil Mendolia. Board of Selectmen: Nick Mullane, Shawn Murphy and Mark Donahue. Also present was Eileen Duggan, Attorney for the Town.
2. Executive Session for purposes of discussing strategy and/or negotiations with respect to a pending claim regarding an audit. A motion was made to enter executive session at 6:07 PM and the session adjourned at 7:29 PM
3. Potential action with respect to a pending claim regarding an audit.-None taken
4. Joint Meeting Adjourned: 7:33 PM

Immediately Following a Board of Education Special Meeting
1. Call to Order of Special Meeting:7:34 PM with Selectmen Mullane, Donahue, and Murphy present.
2. Potential action with respect to a pending claim regarding an audit. A motion was made by Selectman Mullane to approve the settlement agreement discussed in executive session with the Board of Finance and Board of Education and to authorize First Selectman Nicholas Mullane to execute the same on behalf of the Town, seconded by Selectman Murphy, carrying unanimously. 3-0
3. Adjourn-7:36 PM and Selectmen Mullane and Donahue attended a Freedom of Information Training Session sponsored by the Board of Education from 7:45 PM to 9:10 PM. Also in attendance were BOE staff Chuck McCarthy and Robbie McCarthy, Peter Nimirowski, BOF, Darren Robert, Dave McCord, Walter Mathwich, Bob Testa, Crystal Dame, and Phil Mendolia, BOE, in attendance.
