Call to Order-7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane Donahue and Murphy present

Public Comments and Questions-Anna Farm East residents request improvements especially because of narrow lanes during snow season

YMCA Property-Executive Session-No action

FY 2012-13 Budget Interviews

Minutes-A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Murphy to approve the minutes of March 13, 2012, carrying.  3-0

Correspondence

•            Murtha Cullina, Letter from Mike Zizka regarding estimate of work for WPCA updates and Intermunicipal Agreement with Stonington, authorization will be given

•            News article-Old Lyme will no longer plow snow from private roads in beach areas

•            Fire Marshal’s letter regarding existing gas piping problem at school facilities

•            Legislative testimony from Marc Tate to Congress on SB 426

•            DUI Spot Check report

•            Zoning Regulations Review report from Don Poland

•            Stakeholder’s meeting of Dominion’s Millstone Power Station

              A. School Building Project RFQ for Architectural services-Report due the end of this month

              B. Permanent School Planning and Building Committee Project-No report

E. School of Choice-Selectman Mullane will get a copy of BOE minutes with action recorded

  4.  Kingswood/Meadow Wood drainage-Executive Session-No session, no action

  5.  Hewitt property –Tim York was present to discuss building code issues of concern with the repair of the Green Gables House, no action

New Business-

1.           Town Meeting Procedures-General Discussion and revisions to draft response

2.           Tax Refund(s)-No action

3.           Added appropriations  (lawyers) and transfers ( Selectmen’s engineering)-Selectmen will attend BOF meeting to support the PZC request of $20,000

4.           Transfer Station Hours-Selectman Mullane will try to borrow a traffic counter to assess traffic

5.           Town Plowing of Private Roads-Will request a list from the Board of Education of private roads that are used by town’s school bus company.
