Call to Order -7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane, Murphy and Donahue present

Public Comments and Questions-None

Minutes-A motion was made to accept the minutes of July 31, 2012, as amended, by Selectman Murphy seconded by Selectman Donahue, carrying 3-0

Correspondence

Old Business-

1.           Tribal Issues-Acknowledgement Issues-FOI letters sent to BIA requesting information on any and all activity on acknowledgment of Paucatuck Eastern, Eastern Pequot and Historical Eastern Pequot groups.

Executive Session-None

  2.   Subdivision Review and Planning and Zoning Issues

              Affordable Housing/Incentive Housing regulations                        No report

              Milltown Commons

  3.   Permanent School Building Project Committee

              A. Permanent School Planning and Building Committee Project-All FY 2012-13 projects are on hold until the budget is approved.

  4.  96/96A Button Road- formerly -YMCA Property-Executive Session –No report

  5.         Kingswood/Meadow Wood drainage-preparing for arbitration

  6.  Hewitt property

              A.  Committee Report-Inspection for Cabin scheduled for this week.

              B.  Dam Repairs-Re-Engineering- No new report

  7.  Boombridge Road Bridge- Design-Meeting with ConnDOT and designer on 8/15

  8.  Grant applications/administration

              Water Study Ex. 92 X I95-Waiting for final comments on RFQ

              Rec Area Basketball, Tennis Courts/Volleyball Courts-Still having operational problems with lighting.

              2012-13 STEAP Grant-Submitted $160,000 for sewer study in I95 Corridor

              Main Street Bridges-Construction is progressing

              Village Green Bridge-Final design complete, submitted to DEP for permits

12.   Budget 2011-12 Year End Transfers and Additional Appropriations-None

13.   Budget 2012-13-Budget Revisions-Referendum failed for the third time, general discussion, will attend BOF meeting for direction.

2.           Highway Wash Station-No actions

3.           Sale of Route 184 Trailer-Executive Session-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Murphy to enter Executive Session at 9:00 PM.  Out at 9:05 PM.  Selectmen agreed to have Robin Hall represent the Town and advertise trailer as a multiple lisitng.  Will list for $39,900
