Call to Order-7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane, Murphy and Donahue present.

Public Comments and Questions-None presented

Minutes –None presented

Department Report-Teresa Pensis, Agent for the Elderly and Senior Coordinator gave the Board a briefing on Senior Affairs.  She touched on Social Security, Certifications, Programs, Assistance, Available Aid, Fuel Assistance, etc.  She stressed how many are in need of services and aid.  Ms. Pensis requested a new small van that would be wheelchair accessible.

  3.   Permanent School Building Project Committee

              A. School Building Project RFQ for Architectural services-Report is due the end of March, 2012

              B. Permanent School Planning and Building Committee Project-Helping with funding for Gymatorium and Elementary School chimney repairs $19,600 for the Gymatorium and up to $4,000 for the Elementary School

C. Middle School/High School Heating System Code Update-Need an as built drawing and energy testing results.  New boilers are running and servicing the schools.

E. School of Choice-With Board of Education

              Water Study Ex. 92 X I95-No report

              Rec Area Basketball, Tennis Courts, Volleyball Courts/Ice Rink-Work is done, on rink, remaining work tennis and basketball will be done in Spring, 2012.

10.  Budget  FY 2011-2012 & Additional Appropriations & Transfers-Town has received notice from DEMHS for approval of grant funds in the amount of $20,483.85 for temporary dam repairs.  Town will receive 75%-$15,362.89 and be responsible for 25% $5,120.96.

11.  Flood Damage Status Report/Repairs Update/ Action Items

              Main Street Bridges-Bids are due December 12, 2011.

12.  YMCA Property-Executive Session-No report

13.         Transfer Station and Bulky Waste Fees-No action

14.         Land Acquisition-Executive Session-The Town was offered 108 acres on Wintechog Hill Road from Marathon and Graminex, investment companies.  Board will go to PZC on Thursday for CGS 8-24 approval.  Selectman Mullane will arrange for environmental consultant for meeting and site walk scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2011.  Attorney Eppinger is doing title search, so far feed back has been positive but for Selectmen to proceed with caution.

A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Mullane to approve the tax refunds as presented, carrying.  3-0

2.           Anna Farm Road-No discussion

3.           Board of Education funding request for Gymatorium Chimney repairs-A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Donahue to approve funding to repair the Gymatorium Chimney shared costs of $19,600, and up to $4,000 for the Elementary School, carrying.  3-0
