Old Business-

  1.   Tribal Issues-Acknowledgement Issues-Letter sent to BIA on their delinquent FOI response to towns request on Department of Interior/BIA changes in tribal acknowledgement regulations

  2.   Subdivision Review and Planning and Zoning Issues-

              Affordable Housing/Incentive Housing regulations-PZC interviews 10-26-11 for consultant for  affordable housing regulations for town plan of conservation and development.

              Milltown Commons-No report

  3.   Permanent School Building Project Committee

              A. School Building Project RFQ for Architectural services-Meeting of PSPBC-AdHoc and Selectmen scheduled with Quisenberry Archai, October 17th, in order to understand scope of work and contract signing.

              B. Permanent School Planning and Building Committee Project- Flashing on Gymatorium-Done working on contract specs and estimate for sealing of Gymatorium.

C. Middle School/High School Heating System Code Update-Done, punchlist only remaining and final testing/inspection by the State of Connecticut.

D. PSBC- List and schedule/status of projects

E. School of Choice-Consultant report provided by the Board of Education, BOE action

  4.  Kingswood/Meadow Wood drainage review –No report

  5.  Affordable Housing Committee-PZC and BOF do not recommend using Village lots for units.

  6.  Hewitt property

              A.  Committee Report/Activities-Recommendations-Nita Kincaid, Dick Cooper, Jack Brown, and Eddie McGowan gave summary of work to date, plans for fall open house for October 22nd to education public and “show off” property.  Discussion of future tasks, goals, and objectives.

              B.  Dam Repairs-Re-Engineering—No report

  7.  Boombridge Road Bridge- State and Federal Funding/ Contracting-Contract signed with TranSystems, requested schedule of design from TranSystem.

  8.  Grant applications/administration

              Water Study Ex. 92 X I95-No report

              Rec Area Basketball and Tennis Courts-Layout and pricing of volley ball courts is in process

              Town Hall Solar-Audit inspection complete, waiting for conclusions

9.  Board and Commission appointment-No action

              Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center Board of Directors Representative Replacement-Shawn Murphy will be interviewed by the PNC Board and Director.

              Permanent School Planning and Building Committee-No action

              Water Pollution Control Authority-No action

              Cable TV Advisory Committee –No action

Hewitt Farm Committee Alternate-No action

              Main Street Bridges-Awaiting  SHPO concurrence on contract, FEMA Contract review looks OK

12.  YMCA Property-Executive Session-Letter will be sent to Attorney General for collabertion on case law of trusts.
