MINUTES
Call to Order-9:00 AM with Selectmen Mullane, Murphy and Briscoe present. Also present was town counsel Frank Eppinger.
Public Comments and Questions-None presented.
1. Executive Session to discuss petition received by the Town Clerk on March 28, 2011 from Sara Woodward regarding the lease of the Buon Appetito Restaurant located at 386 Norwich Westerly Road, North Stonington. No Executive Session was convened
2. Call of Special Town Meeting
• $177,337 Main Street bridges design and engineer
• $20,000 additional appropriation for Town Attorney
• Resident Troopers Contract FY 2011-13
• CNR Additional Appropriation STEAP Recreation Area Courts-$179,100-Tabled for later Action
• CNR Additional Appropriation STEAP Water Study-$200,000-Tabled for later Action
• Lease of Buon Appetito
A motion was made by Selectman Briscoe and seconded by Selectman Murphy to send the four items above:
$177,337 Additional Appropriation for Main Street bridges design and engineering
$20,000 Additional Appropriation for Attorneys
The Resident Troopers Contract with the State of Connecticut
Lease on Buon Appetito
to a Special Town Meeting on April 18, 2011. Carrying unanimously 3-0
3. Referendum Resolutions-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Briscoe to send the Lease on the Buon Appetito to a Referendum vote on May 2, 2011.
