The Town will also have to allow for roofing protection and the monitoring and inspection of work quality and miscellaneous materials.
After general discussion with PSPBC and the recommendation of the architect it was agreed to use the funds in the PSPBC Capital Non Recurring fund balance to approve the contract and authorize the work as soon as possible. The Selectmen had previously discussed with the Board of Finance to use this approach if the low bidder costs was within the PSPBC CNR funding balance capability.
