Call to Order-7:03 PM with Selectmen Murphy, Mullane, and Briscoe present
Public Comments and Questions-Members of the North Stonington Garden Club requested permission to repair the damage to the Village Green from recent flooding. The Selectmen OK’d the request.
Bob Fleury, Pendleton Hill Road and member of the Open Space Conservation Easement Committee request that the Selectmen ask COG to support the Avalonia purchase of the Hero property on Route 184. The Board will make the request.

1. Tribal Issues-Acknowledgement Issues-Attorney Baur, from Perkins Coie will be in the area and may be able to meet with the Selectmen April 21, or 22, 2010.

B. Middle School/High School Heating System Code Update-Quote was received to replace boilers at the High School and Elementary School facilities. $ 293,000 plus engineering-$25,000, project management-$18,000, asbestos removal-$90,000 and contingency of $50,000 for a total of $476,000.

5. Kingswood/Meadow Wood drainage review-Old Colony is being paved and the Kingswood connections are being installed.

Committee Report/Activities-Recommendations-Pending Hearing date
Dam Repairs-Re-Engineering-Karl Acemovic has been authorized to engineer new proposal due to flood damage.
Lease Renewals-Dew Drop Inn/Rosie’s-Leasee has begun paperwork on demo process, First Selectman Mullane is working with Attorney Eppinger on agreement for Town’s protection.
8. Boombridge Road bridge
State and Town Funding-Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by RIDOT and returned to Town
9. STEAP Grant applications-No action
10. FY 2009-10 Capital Projects
Old Town Hall Solar Panels (including roof and chimney)-Selectmen will be briefed next week
11. Pinewoods Road-No report
12. North Stonington Ambulance Financial Status-President Brian Elias, and Board members Larry Southwick and Bill Fitzgerald, Sr. were present to discuss financial status of Association. Discussion of transfer request of unused capital. No action taken
