Call to Order-7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane and Murphy present.  Selectman Briscoe was out of town with his family

1.   Tribal Issues-Acknowledgement Issues

       Appellate Hearing on Schaghticoke appeal-No data on appeal to Supreme Court

       Tribal Acknowledgement Additional Appropriation

2.   Subdivision Review and Planning and Zoning Issues-

       PZC Affordable/Incentive Housing regulations-No report PZC is working on project

       Milltown Commons-Application submitted, Hearing opens June 10th

3.   Permanent School Building Project Committee

A.     School Building Project-Draft available for June 8th Selectmen’s meeting.

           RFQ for Architectural services

B.     Permanent School Planning and Building Committee Projects- Flashing on Gymatorium-No report

C.          Middle School/High School Heating System Code Update- Draft available for June 8th Selectmen’s meeting

4.  Town Energy Projects-No report

             Wind farm Project-No activity

5.  Kingswood/Meadow Wood drainage review-Reviewing project with contractor, rework will begin in the next several weeks.

6.  Affordable Housing Committee-General Discussion of role of Committee

7.  Hewitt property

              A.  Committee Report/Activities-Recommendations-Public Hearing June 14th, Wheeler High Media Center

              B.  Dam Repairs-Re-Engineering-Temporary repairs began this week

       C.  Lease Renewals-Dew Drop Inn/Rosie’s-Direction given for modification to stipulated agreement and cash bond

8.  Boombridge Road bridge

              State and Federal Funding-Rhode Island is requiring a contract to be signed by all participating parties

9.   STEAP Grant applications-No application deadline to date

10.  FY 2009-10 Capital Projects

              Old Town Hall Solar Panels (including roof and chimney)

11.  Pinewoods Road-No new activity

12.  Board and Commission appointment-No action

       Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center Director Replacement (Board member)-No action

       Agent for the Elderly and Senior Center Coordinator-Application process closed May 28th, review will be conducted

13.  Budget for FY 2010-2011-Referendum June 7, 2010

14.     Ethics Policy-No action

15.     North Stonington, Preston, Voluntown, Griswold Town Line Survey-No action

16.     Flood Damage Status Report/Repairs Update/ Action Items-Continuing work with FEMA, temporary repairs on dam, Main Street bridge continuing to fall in, permission granted to demo before any further damage is caused by brook blockage, Highway Department has begun paving wash-outs.

17.     NSAA Financial Status-Remove from agenda

3.          Town Hall copier and future telephone system upgrades/changes-Marc Tate briefed Selectmen on proposals for Old Town Hall copier replacement and telephone system upgrades and/or conversions.
