MINUTES                   

Call to Order-The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane, Murphy and Briscoe present.

Minutes-

A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Briscoe to approve the minutes of July 14, 2010, carrying.  3-0

A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Briscoe to approve the minutes of July 20, 2010, carrying.   3-0

Inland Wetlands Commission-Selectman Mullane made a motion to appoint Niki Provatas to the Inland Wetlands Commission, seconded by Selectman Murphy, carrying.  3-0

12.  Budget        2009-10 Close-Out-SCRRRA revenue received-$11,841.02 vs. anticipated $10,000

14  North Stonington, Preston, Voluntown, Griswold Town Line Survey-No report

15  Flood Damage Status Report/Repairs Update/ Action Items-Big issue of FEMA not reimbursing for additional flood damage to the Hewitt Property dam.

New Business-

1.         Tax Refund(s)-Deferred until reason for refund is given by Tax Collector

2.         Call of Special Town Meeting-Draft given to the Board

3.         Tax Sales/Foreclosures-Executive Session to discussion town strategy-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane to enter Session at 7:58 PM, seconded by Selectman Briscoe, carrying. 3-0

A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Briscoe to adjourn the session at 8:05 PM, carrying.  3-0  No actions taken
