Call to Order-7:02 PM called to order with Selectman Mullane, Murphy and Ricker present.
Public Comments and Questions-Questions regarding Armstrong Pentway, driveway wash-out, pitch of road, water direction. Questions of Assistant Foreman’s position and Resident State Troopers’ program
Minutes-A motion was made by Selectman Ricker and seconded by Selectman Murphy to approve the minutes of June 23, 2009, carrying. 3-0

1. Tribal Issues
Letters to Congress on Trust Land-Will have draft letter next week.
2. Subdivision Review and Planning and Zoning Issues-Medical Clinic at Professional Center at rotary. Request for support with sewers and water needs.
3. Permanent School Building Project Committee
A. Activities/membership-Ad Hoc Committee
Membership-No recommendations to date for 3 vacancies, First Selectman Mullane recommended advertising.
B. Permanent School Planning and Building Committee Projects-Discussion on Gymatorium fix, drawings provided
C. Middle School/High School Heating System Code Update-Scott Learned will attend our meeting on July 7th, all invited to attend.
4. Town Energy Projects
Electrical Rate Bids-General discussion, no action
Wind farm Project-Climate Showcase grant letter of intent sent.
5. Kingswood/Meadowwood drainage review –No report
6. Affordable Housing Committee-No report
7. Hewitt property
Committee Report-Members did not consider Selectman Ricker’s draft letter adequate to act upon, Selectman Mullane will draft letter.
Dam Repairs-Engineer is working on permit application with DEP
Lease Renewals-Dew Drop Inn/Rosie’s-Deadline is July 4th, Selectman Mullane will work on next steps with Attorney Eppinger.
8. Boombridge Road bridge
State and Federal Funding-Letter sent to Senator Algieri for help with Rhode Island funding assistance
9. FY 2009-2010 Budget-General discussion on start up
FY 2008-09 Budget Close Out-Selectman Mullane reported all departments are on track and close out is going well.
10. 2009-2010 Legislative Agenda-Letter was sent to Representative Urban and Senator Maynard along with old recommendation letters.
11 STEAP Grant applications-No new data
12. Stimulus Grants Application-No new date

14. JAG Stimulus Grant Application-First Selectman Mullane will prepare application and list
New Business-
1 Note/BANS for Hewitt property and Fire Truck sale-Sale will proceed in early September
2. Selectmen meeting schedule-Selectmen’s Meeting on July 7th, but no meeting on July 14th.
3. Hewitt property tax bills-Tax bills were issued but are responsibility of the Town.
