The State intends to raise height of road and bridge for hydraulics to widen the road slightly and increase stream flow by abutments, intends to close Route 184 and will detour traffic, project is three years out and the State will replace during April to October.
Old Business-
1. Tribal Issues-Supreme Court ruled in Carcieri vs. Narragansett Tribe, that land can not be taken into trust by tribes recognized after 1934 per the 1934 Indian Reorganization Act. A full understanding of the decision is not yet available.
