Call to Order-7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane and Murphy present.  Selectman Ricker is vacationing in China and will be back October 1st.

5.   Kingswood/Meadow Wood drainage review –All issues and schedule resolved, can now complete specifications

6.  Affordable Housing Committee-Minutes of last meeting provided and John Olsen co-chair present to comment on answers to Selectmen and explain and show potential project at Holly Green

7.  Hewitt property

Committee Report/Activities- One haying proposal received with two options; one for $300 and one for $500, Perkins and Sons-Forwarded to Hewitt Farm Committee for review and comment.

                        Dam Repairs-No DEP permit until 2010

            Lease Renewals-Dew Drop Inn/Rosie’s-Leasee response deadline 9-25-09

8.  Boombridge Road bridge

                        State and Federal Funding-No new information-Selectman Mullane has communicated with RIDOT, MOUU in review, checking for funding authoriztion

9.       FY 2009-2010 State Budget-Hope to have final details by end of week

State Budget Revisions-No final data

2009-2010 Legislative Agenda-No final data

10   STEAP Grant applications-$200,000 grant awarded to North Stonington for water study

11.  FY 2009-10 Capital Projects

Old Town Hall Solar Panels(including roof and chimney)-No report pending State grant-Finalization and Funding

12.   JAG Stimulus Grant –Awarded, expenses can begin after October 1st.

13  YMCA Property-No new infomation

14.  State mandated Health District-The intent is to research and address in next budget process

New Business-

1.       Pinewoods Road-Pending court date of September 28th

2.       Cemetery Commission appointments and confirmations-Tabled

3.       Letter of Support for Shore Line East Extension commuter from New London-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Murphy to send an supportletter to SLE for extension of services with Mr. Mullane’s signature, carrying.  2-0
