Call to Order-7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane and Ricker present
Public Comments and Questions-None presented
Minutes-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Ricker to approve the minutes of March 24, 2009, carrying.  3-0
Correspondence
       CAHS Report on Balancing Early Childhood Education, Families and the Economy, CT 2008-09
       Lions Club request for Parade approval
       Attorney Eppinger’s opinion letter on EDC funding for North Stonington Business directory
       Tri-town letter to Connecticut delegation on trust land
       Affordable Tree Service letter of award, for tree removal at the Hewitt Property
       North Stonington Democratic Town Committee letter requesting that the Selectmen and Tax Collector make every effort to collect taxes
       BOF Budget Season Schedule
       Mystic Aquarium request for funding support
       JJ Electric Company quote for wiring work at the Recreation Areas to save electricity

1.   Tribal Issues-
        Letters to Congress on Trust Land- Letter sent to Connecticut Delegation on trust land
2.   Subdivision Review and Planning and Zoning Issues-Meeting on Thursday PZC agenda to discuss the Ashwillet Conservation Easement.
3.   Permanent School Building Project Committee
A.      Activities/membership-Ad Hoc Committee-No report
B.      Permanent School Planning and Building Committee Projects-Waiting for list of prior projects and funding as well as future projects and estimates of funding.
C.      Middle School/High School Heating System Code Update-Mr. Learned is working on specifications and code update
4.   Town Energy Projects
                Electrical Rate Bids-Billing material has been given to Glacier and Santa electrical companies for quotes.
                Wind farm Project-No report
5.   Town Hall Improvements-Doors have arrived and are scheduled to be installed within the next two weeks.
6.  Kingswood/Meadowwood drainage review –No report
7.  Affordable Housing Committee-Committee to reconvene with Selectmen to review Housing Authority
8.  Hewitt property
                Dam Repairs-Tree removal is scheduled to start April 6th, surveyor to provide engineer mapping.
9.  Boombridge Road bridge-Receipt of ConnDOT letter with 40% Federal grant award
10.   FY 2009-2010 Budget-Copy provided with two changes from last week, no other alterations.
11.   2009-2010 Legislative Agenda-General discussion, no action
12    STEAP Grant applications-No new data
13.  Stimulus Grants Application-No new data
        14.  Special Town Meeting issues-April 6, 2009
New Business
        1.    EDC Business Directory-Opinion letter received from Attorney Eppinger and distributed to the EDC for their further action.
        2.    CT Municipal Consortium for Fiscal Responsibility-Next Week
        3.    North Stonington Lions Club Memorial Day Parade-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane and seconded by Selectman Ricker to approve and assist the North Stonington Lions’ Club with the Memorial Day Parade, carrying.  2-0
