Call to Order-7:00 PM with Selectmen Mullane, Murphy, and Ricker
present.  
Public Comments and Questions-No comments
Minutes-
A motion was made by Selectman Ricker and seconded by Selectman Murphy
to approve the minutes of May 6, 2008, carrying.  
A motion was made by Selectman Ricker and seconded by Selectman Murphy
to approve the minutes of May 13, 2008, carrying.

                        Nine Month Moratorium-Implemented-First
Selectman Mullane will attend a PZC meeting to discuss cost of layers
and recovery of fees.  Also will ask when meetings are scheduled for
public input on draft regulation changes and schedule end of moratorium.
3.  Permanent School Building Project Committee activities/membership
        Energy and Conservation program for Wheeler School complex-First
Selectman Mullane has requested a meeting with BOE on proposed School
Building project.
4.  Town Energy Projects
                Electrical Rate Bids-Review will be scheduled for next
meeting
5.  Kingswood/Meadowwood drainage review-Surveying done, wetlands
flagged, boring scheduled.
6.  Affordable Housing Ad Hoc Committee-Selectman would like to review
the questionnaire before mailing.
7.  Purchase of Mystic Seaport property by Town-General discussion of
dam repair and cost and availability of insurance coverage.  ERT
scheduled for June 5th.
8.  Profit and Loss Statement (Manager's Report) review-General review
of year end.  Board will request a transfer/additional appropriation for
the Tax Refund line item for $4535.  Other concern is Town Attorney line
item.



New Business
1.      Call of Special Town Meeting-
A special town meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in
town meetings of the Town of North Stonington, Connecticut, will be held
on the date indicated at the time and location noted below for the
following purposes:

LOCATION:  New Town Hall Conference Room
DATE:  June 16, 2008
TIME:  7:00 p.m.

1.      Resolved:  That the Board of Selectmen shall be given the
authority to move the balance of the Capital Line item, Ambulance
($164,889), to the Capital Non Recurring Accounts to complete the
project.-A motion was made by Selectman Mullane, seconded by Selectman
Murphy to forward item #1 to a Special Town Meeting, carrying.  3-0
2.      To hear and act upon amendments to the Town's Economic
Development Ordinance. A motion was made by Selectman Murphy, seconded
by Selectman Ricker, to forward item #2 to a Special Town Meeting,
carrying.  3-0

2.      Year-End Close Out-Action above under #8.

The Board discussed Transfer Station permit rules, discussion to
continue at next meeting.  
Public Comments and Questions-There will be no Board meeting on June
10th, members will attend Griswold Selectmen's Meeting to discuss Town
Boundary data.
Gary Herbert has requested wireless into the Conference Room.
