Call to Order-8:45 AM with Selectmen Mullane and Peterson present.
Public Comments and Questions-

1.      Budget 2007-08-  Call of a Special Town Meeting-A motion was
made by Selectman Peterson, seconded by Selectman Mullane to forward six
items listed to a Town Meeting, carrying.  2-0

        Warning is hereby given to the electors and those entitled to
vote at town meetings of the Town of North Stonington that a Special
Meeting shall be held at the following location on the date and time
indicated for the purposes of transacting the business setforth below:

Location:  North Stonington Elementary School Multipurpose Room
Date:   July 30, 2007
Time:  7:00 PM

1.      To hear and act upon the acceptance of a Quit Claim deed for
road strip      property along Shunock River Estates subdivision,
Babcock Road.
2.         To hear and act upon the acceptance of a private conservation
easement for the        Shunock River Estates subdivision, Babcock Road.
3.         To hear and act upon the acceptance of a Warranty Deed from
Green Falls     Associates for road strip property along Wintechog Hill
Road subdivision.
4.      To hear and act upon the acceptance of a private conservation
easement for the        Green   Falls Associates, Wintechog Hill Road
subdivision.
5.      "Shall the Town of North Stonington approve the estimates and
recommendations         of the  Board of Finance with respect to the
annual budget for fiscal year July 1,   2007 through    June 30, 2008,
in the amount of $5,368,330 for the general     government including
redemption of debt and capital and make specific        appropriations
and authorize expenditures in connection therewith as   appear
advisable?"
6.      "Shall the Town of North Stonington approve the estimates and
recommendations         of the  Board of Finance with respect to the
annual budget for fiscal year July 1,   2007 through    June 30, 2008,
in the amount of $11,881,092  for the Board of  Education, and make
specific appropriations and authorize expenditures in   connection
therewith as appear     advisable?



Referendum Resolution-A motion was made by Selectman Peterson, seconded
by Selectman Mullane to approve the following resolution for referendum,
carrying.  2-0
        RESOLVED, that the Board of Selectmen submit to the voters at a
referendum to be held Monday August 6, 2007, between the hours of 12:00
noon and 8:00 p.m., in the manner provided by Section 7 7 of the General
Statutes of Connecticut, Revision of 1958, as amended, the resolutions
below, to be placed upon the voting machines under the following
headings:

"Shall the Town of North Stonington approve the estimates and
recommendations of the Board of Finance with respect to the annual
budget for fiscal year July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008, in the amount
of $5,368,330 for the general government including redemption of debt
and capital and make specific appropriations and authorize expenditures
in connection therewith as appear advisable?"

"Shall the Town of North Stonington approve the estimates and
recommendations of the Board of Finance with respect to the annual
budget for fiscal year July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008, in the amount
of $11,881,092          for the Board of Education, and make specific
appropriations and authorize expenditures in connection therewith as
appear advisable?"

                YES                             NO
