Call to Order-7:05 PM with Selectman Mullane, Peterson and Hescock
present. Also present were Tim Baas and Jeff Pearson from North
Stonington Little League (NSLL).
Public Comments and Questions-
Minutes-A motion was made Selectman Hescock, seconded by Selectman
Peterson to approve the minutes of March 6, 2007, carrying. 3-0 A
motion was made by Selectman Hescock seconded by Selectman Mullane to
approve the minutes of March 12, 2007, carrying. 3-0

3. Route 2 Road Modifications-Executive Session-Attorney
update-MPTN filed Call Before you Dig applications may start off
site work. No STC or local ConnDOT permits issued to date.
4. Subdivision Review and Planning and Zoning Issues-No action
5. Assekonk Swamp Walkway-Waiting weather
6. Permanent School Building Project Committee activities-No report
7. Appointments to Boards and Commissions-A resignation has been
received from Brad Glas from the Tourism District. Vacancy now
exists.
8. Town financial accounting/software to complete the 2005-06 Audit
preparations-All data entered, now balancing bank statements.
9. Federal (Courtney) and State (STEAP) grant requests-No action
10. Horse and Cart rides permit request-Denison Hill Road-Attorney
Eppinger commented and assisted in drafting a letter to Mr. Hellman.
11. Little League added appropriation request-Attorney Eppinger
cited CGS 39.25 and 39.21, allowing municipalities to donate to
non-municipal entities. General Discussion. Additional information
was requested from Little League

3. Route 2 Road Modifications-Executive Session-Attorney
update-Call Before You Dig was issued to MPTN for Route 2 excavation
but to date no STC or local DOT certificates have been issued for
work with in Route 2 State right of way. Modification to original
STC approval were made on March 22, 2007, but it appears to be
administrative for design inspections and bonding.

Pre-Audit General Government complete and now ready for Audit
9. Federal (Courtney) and State (STEAP) grant requests-Federal
deadline has passed, general discussion on STEAP. No action
10. Horse and Cart rides permit request-Denison Hill Road-Draft
letter reviewed, changes made, ready for mailing.

New Business
1. Federal FY 07-Local Road accident reduction program-Discussion
of candidate but no action taken.
2. Code of Ethics-Board will wait until the end of State
Legislative Session to see if State takes action and if Board of
Selectmen need to take action.
3. Repairs/Replacement to New Town Hall roof-A motion was made by
Selectman Mullane to approve $8000 to replace shingles on New Town
Hall, seconded by Selectman carrying. 3-0
