1.      Call to Order/ Roll Call-7:00 PM with First Selectman Murphy and Selectmen Mullane and Donahue

4.      Minutes-A motion was made by Selectman Donahue and seconded by Selectman Mullane to approve the minutes of February 23, 2016, carrying.

6.      Tax Refund(s)-Selectman Mullane made a motion to approve the following tax refunds, seconded by First Selectman Murphy,

7.      Request for 2016 Legislative Session-Review of draft letter to Representative Urban and Senator Maynard on prevailing wages.  Letter will be sent from Selectman Mullane

8.      FY 2015-16 Resident Trooper Funding Shortfall-First Selectman Murphy presented an update on troopers’ line item for FY 15-16 and recommended a transfer from Medical Insurance, Board decided to inform the BOF but hold action.

9.      Fiscal Year 2016-17 Budget –General Discussion on capping increases for departments with First Selectman Murphy making a motion to cap the Fire Company budget at 2%, seconded by Selectman Mullane with an amendment to add an additional $5,500 for turnout gear expenses moved from capital to operating  motion was withdrawn.  All changes to the budget will be made at one time.  It was requested that the Registrars be invited to the next meeting.

11.Executive Session for Union Negotiation Strategy-A motion was made by Selectman Murphy and seconded by Selectman Mullane to enter executive session at 9:30 PM, out at 10:00 PM, no action.

12. Adjournment-First Selectman Murphy made a motion to adjourn at 10:01 PM, seconded by Selectman Donahue, carrying.  3-0
