Old Business-
1.           Proposed School Building Project Elementary / Middle / High School-Selectmen’s Resolution for
Call of Special Town Meeting and Referendum
              RESOLVED, that the Board of Selectmen recommends that the Town of North Stonington appropriate $46,990,000 for costs with respect to the design, construction, equipping, and furnishing of additions and renovations to Wheeler Middle and High School and North Stonington Elementary School as described in the Resolution of the Board of Selectmen adopted March 25, 2014; and that the Town issue bonds or notes and temporary notes in an amount not to exceed $46,990,000  to finance the appropriation.
              FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Selectmen hereby (1) designates for submission at Special Town Meeting to be held April 28, 2014 a resolution appropriating $46,990,000 for costs with respect to the design, construction, equipping, and furnishing of additions and renovations to Wheeler Middle and High School and North Stonington Elementary School and authorizing the issue of bonds, notes, or other obligations, and temporary notes in an amount not to exceed $46,990,000 to finance the appropriation and (2) designates for submission to the voters at referendum to be held May 5, 2014 in the manner provided by Section 7-7 of the General Statutes of Connecticut, Revision of 1958, as amended, action concerning the aforesaid resolution; such Special Town Meeting and referendum to be held on the dates, times and places as reflected in the notice of such Special Town Meeting and referendum presented to this meeting, which notice is hereby approved.  The Notice of the Special Town Meeting in the form presented to this meeting is approved, with such changes as the First Selectman shall approve.
