North Stonington Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
April 28, 2011

Location: Wheeler High School Media Center
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mary Ann Ricker at 6:01 PM. It was moved. Seconded and carried to formally approve the revised minutes of the March 24, 2011 meeting.
The committee discussed the status and final preparation of the April 30, 2011, town-wide workshop on affordable housing for our citizens and elected officials.
Final arrangements were made for the format of the program, with SEC/TV Channel 12 to video the workshop in its entirety that will be edited and then run for the community.
Panelists will include Robert Fusari, HOPE, Inc.

Michael Pace, First Selectman, Old Saybrook
Pat Spring & Christine Devine, Housing Connections
Grace Curran, President of ACCESS Senior Housing of Franklin
Julie Savin, Neighbor works/New Horizons
Due to time constraints, the RFQ for Comprehensive Housing Plan was not discussed, but will be on the agenda for next month’s meeting. (Copy attached).
A motion was made and thereafter seconded that the committee meeting be adjourned at 7:25 PM.
The next meeting will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Wheeler High School Media Center.
