North Stonington Affordable Housing Advisory Committee

In Attendance: Michelle Brophy, James Scaramozza, Mary Ann Ricker, Stella Neves-Elbaum

Location: Wheeler High School Media Center
The meeting was called to order by Co-Chairman Mary Ann Ricker at 6:05 PM. Since the Aug.25,2011 meeting had been cancelled due to lack of a quorum, there were no minutes of that meeting to approve.
The committee discussed the responses to the RFQ for a NSAHC Housing Plan.
The companies who responded included :
- Barbara Sokolov Associates, Inc.
- BFJ Planning
- CME Associates,Inc.
- Ernest Swiger Consulting, Inc.
- Goderre & Associates
- Mullin & Lonegran
- Planimetrics
- Urban Initiatives
Juliet Leeming designed a form to rate the proposals on the following criteria :
- Required material submitted
- Relevant experience
- Staff experience
- Creative approach
- Responsive in understanding the criteria
The top three proposals selected were
- Goderre & Associates
- Planimetrics
- Barbara Sokolov Associates, Inc.
Juliet will draft a letter to the remaining applicants, to inform them that they had not been chosen as finalists. The committee will schedule a date and time to interview the finalists; the AHC will email to each other suggested questions for all of the finalists to answer during the interview process. The schedule for these interviews will be addressed in the next few days and the AHC will be notified by email of the date , time and location.
A motion was made and thereafter seconded that the committee be adjourned at 7:15Pm. The next meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, 6:00 PM, Wheeler High School Media Center.
