North Stonington Affordable and Work Force Housing Committee

First, review minutes taken as to last (first formal) meeting of the Committee; namely, election of co-chairs and secretary; Board of Selectmen’s requested scope of work; and general goals of committee and time frames and then formally approve same. Ensure Secretary files same in accordance with rules once so approved.
Agenda topics for tonight’s meeting:
1. General discussion of dissemination of information concerning what “affordable housing” and/or “work force” housing entails
2. Review and comment upon proposed brochure
3. Review and identify State owned properties located in Town
4. Review and identify general locations where R-40 and R-60 zoning districts are located in Town
5. Discuss potential representation by certain members of committee on local public access TV station
6. Review status of current applicant’s proposed Meadowcourt project, for informational purposes only as same may impact Committee’s work and stated scope of work and to assess potential impact on Town’s statutory requirements under CGS 8-30g
7. Discuss addition of Julie Savin in role of advisor to Committee
