Parks and Recreation Meeting Minutes of Monday,
October 7, 2013 at 6pm

Old Business
• Hillview 25th Anniversary Event
o Sheila handed out 5 flyers to each member asking them to hang up around town at local businesses.
o Sheila will be handing flyers out to public at Town meeting tonight.
o Billie would like 100 flyers printed to take to his weekend programs.
o Rita stated we need volunteers.
o Sheila suggested wearing FONRPRC shirts for bright color.
• Operation Director Update (MS)
o Financials
Maureen is focusing on finishing permitting which are high receipts. League numbers are strong. Rec summer numbers were good, fall numbers are down.
o Permitting program
Maureen is looking into permitting programs to be in place by January or February The cost will be an upfront cost and probably a yearly fee.
• LUC (RM)
o Golf Tournament
Rita stated great event. Thank you to all staff and members who volunteered.
• CIT Updates (RM):
o There will be a presentation at Town meeting tonight from CIT. We will talk to Chief Murphy about cadets and having them help at the parks. Chief is asking to close down Skate Park.

• FONRPRC Updates (SS):
o Working on scheduling more dances for fundraising.
o Black Friday bowl is coming up

o Enterprise guidelines
Billie asked Maureen to give us what the enterprise guidelines are.
o Next Meeting: October 21st at Town Hall Room 5, 7pm
o Next Agenda: Nov 4th meeting Camera’s at Skate Park.
