1. Motion for rehearing – Case 2008:03, requested by Attorney Peter Saari on behalf of his
client William A. & Agnes Hawks Estate, Citizens Bank, Trustee. The applicant
requested a special exception under Article IV, Section 409.12 to erect a new home
within (50) fifty-feet of an inland wetland on a vacant approved building lot of record and
was denied by the board (3 in favor of denial and 2 opposed) on May 27, 2008.
2. 2008:06 – William A. & Agnes P. Hawks Estate, C/O Citizens NH Investment Services,
Trustee, 875 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03101. The applicant requests a special
exception under Article IV, Section 409.12 to permit the erection of a new home thirty
(30) feet from an inland wetland on a vacant approved building lot of record. Property
owner: William A. & Agnes P. Hawks Estate. Property location: Maple Road, Tax M/L
006-040, zoning district R-2.
3. 2008:07 – William A. Agnes P. Hawks Estate, C/O Citizens NH Investment Services,
Trustee, 875 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03101. The applicant requests a variance from
Article IV, Section 406 to permit the erection of a new home with garage 24 ½ feet from
Maple Road on a vacant approved building lot of record. Property owner: William A &
Agnes P. Hawks Estate. Property location: Maple Road, Tax M/L 006-040, zoning
district R-2.
4. 2008:08 – Stanley & Nina Knowles, 3 Cherry Road, North Hampton. The applicant
requests (1) an appeal from an Administrative Officer pursuant to Article VII, Section 704
of Building Inspector’s interpretation of Article III, Section 302.30, non-conforming use
and Article V, Section 501.2, and (2) requests a variance pursuant to Article VI, Section
602, relief from Article IV, Section 406 to expand on a lot having 88.64 feet of frontage on
Birch Road where 175-feet of frontage is required. Property owner: Stanley & Nina
Knowles. Property location: Cherry Road and Birch Road, Tax Map 018, lots 011, 014 &
102, zoning district R-3.
5. 2008:09 – Christopher Bolton, Trustee of Christopher J. Bolton Revocable Trust-2001,
1225 River Road, Weare, NH 03281. The applicant requests a special exception under
Article IV, Section 409.12 to permit the erection of a new single-family home forty-one
(41) feet from a tidal wetland on a vacant approved building lot of record. Property owner:
Christopher Bolton, Trustee of Christopher J. Bolton Revocable Trust – 2001. Property
location: 24 Ocean Boulevard, Tax M/L 001-040, zoning district R-2.
