PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING
The North Hampton Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public meeting
Wednesday, February 18, 1998 at 7:30 P.M.
at the Town Hall to discuss the following:
Case 98:10 D. Doskocil and S. Peterson asks for an administrative appeal of the North Hampton Planning Board's recent approval of the "Mill Road Subdivision", developer Turner Porter, for its failure to exercise its privileges and fulfill its duty to promote the health, safety and welfare of our community as defined in Article, Article IV Sections 414, 414.4, 409.9 and 409.10.
Case 98:11 Richard N. Thorp for property owned by the Town of North Hampton Recreational Department, known as Dearborn Park, tax map 8 lot 120, located in the R-1 zone district, and requests a variance to the terms of Article IV, Section 406 and asks that said terms be waived to permit the construction of a pavilion within the required setback of 30 feet.
Case 98:12 Arthur F. Brady III for property located at 16 Cherry Road, tax map18 lot 17, located in the R-1 zone district, and requests a variance to the terms of Article V Section 501.2 and asks that said terms be waived to permit the construction of an addition to an existing house. The property is considered non-conforming because it comprises 1.6 acres, which is less than the required 2 acres. There is adequate frontage.
Case 98:13 Aubuchon Company for property owned by Foremost Investment Company, located at 5 Lafayette Road, tax map 3 lot 79, located in the IB zone, and requests a variance to Article V, Sections 506.2 (d), 506.3 (b), 506.3 (c), and 506.3 (d) and asks that said terms be waived to permit the installation of a 60 SF pole sign 14 feet above grade, and install two wall signs, 16 SF and 32 SF, and install a backlit awning with 24" lettering.
Case 98:14 Carolyn Fetter and Jay Diener, for property owned by Marion Buffington, located at 59 Woodland Road, requests a special exception as provided by in Article V Section 507 to operate administrative functions of a business from a home located in the R-2 zone.
Case 98:15 John C. Woodworth for property located at 45 South Road, tax map 7 lot 113, located in the IB zone, requests a variance to Article IV Section 406.6 and Article V Section 501.1 and asks that said terms be waived to permit the existing house to be used for both residential and business purposes. The property is a non-conforming lot because it consists of 0.6 acres which is less than the 2 acres required, and has less than 250 feet frontage, as required in the IB zone.
