I. The North Hampton Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing, January 15, 2013, at 6:30pm at the North Hampton, NH Town Hall, 231 Atlantic Avenue, on the following proposed Zoning Amendments to consider placing them on the March 2013 Town Warrant:
1. Third Public Hearing on proposed Amendments to the Sign Ordinance Article V, Section 506:
a. Article V, Section 506.2 – Add to the Definitions, G. Feather Flag or Feather-flag style Banner. A lightweight portable advertising medium, mounted on a pole, that resembles a sail.
b. Article V, Section 506.5 – Add to Prohibited Signs, H. Feather Flag or Feather-flag style Banner. A lightweight portable advertising medium, mounted on a pole, that resembles a sail.
2. Third Public Hearing on proposed Amendments to the Inclusionary Housing Ordinance Article IV, Section 418 to implement a “trigger” that the ordinance would only come into effect if it is demonstrated that the Town is below its “fair share” and a proposed process that calculates the percentage of a development that must be affordable so that the Town will eventually meet its required “fair share” of affordable housing.
Copies of the proposed amendments are available at the North Hampton Town Office, 233 Atlantic Avenue, Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm for public review.
