NORTH HAMPTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING AGENDA

To consider recommendations from the North Hampton Forever Subcommittee of the Conservation Commission for the purchase of land and/or conservation easements as follows:

a)      A conservation easement on 25 +/- acres on a parcel of land owned by John and Cynthia Jenkins at 93 Exeter Road.  The total purchase price of the easement is $470,000 provided that the Town is awarded a grant in the amount of $235,000 (50% of the purchase price) from the Farm and Ranch Land Protection Program ("FRPP") of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resource Conservation Service. The balance of funds for the purchase ($235,000) will be provided from North Hampton Forever Bond Funds approved by Town Meeting vote in 2001. The parcel is identified as Tax Map 9, Lot 33 in North Hampton, and subsequent to the acquisition, it will be subject to FRPP restrictions and other restrictions of the conservation easement.

b)      A continuance of the Public Hearing of April 3, 2007, for the purchase of a 2.8-acre parcel of land, referenced in North Hampton Tax Map Page 2, Lot 68, owned by the United Church of Christ, through a fee simple purchase in the amount of $30,000.
