IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING

VISION APPRAISAL TECHNOLOGY will be hosting a public information forum for North Hampton residents and business owners interested in learning more about the assessment recertification process.  This forum will include an overview of the steps taken by appraisers as they worked to determine property values for parcels and structures located in the Town of North Hampton.


This forum is intended to be an overview of the assessment recertification process.  In the very near future, all property owners will be given the opportunity to discuss their values with the appraisal staff (hearings) at an appointed time that will be publicly announced near the end of the recertification process. At a hearing, the property owner can voice concerns, discuss possible inaccuracies or discrepancies with a qualified appraiser who will review the property record card and explain the value. Should an inspection or revaluation need to be done, the appraiser will make that determination and any changes that result will be sent to the property owner.
