Town residents & visitors To the north beach boardwalk, pier & beach

Construction will begin on October 20, 2014 on the following:
· stone breakwater in front of the t-section of the pier,
· addition of the lower deck in front of the t-section of the pier,
· and replacement of pilings and decking on the pier.
During this time, the entire pier and the beach area north of the Welcome Center will be closed to the public. We anticipate the construction will last well through the end of March.
We apologize for any inconveniences, but these repairs are structural in nature and are being made to make the pier safer for those who use it.
