- Farmers' Market, Classic Car Cruise-In and Art Fair tonight, August 15, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm. Next Friday, August 22, 2014 is Customer Appreciation Night. Enter to win a basket full of goodies from the vendors and farmers of the NORTH BEACH FRIDAY NIGHT FARMERS’ MARKET! The raffle is FREE and the drawing will take place on the evening of Friday, August 22, 2014. Winner does not need to be present to win.
- Operation Second Chance Hope on the Chesapeake is happening this weekend! Head on over to Chesapeake Beach and line the streets to welcome the Wounded Warriors on Saturday, August 16, 2014. The window for arrival time is from 6:45 to 7:15 am. The honored guests will be around town until Sunday afternoon when they depart from the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department at approximately 1:30 pm.
- Tomorrow, Saturday, August 16, 2014 is a Movie on the Beach at dusk: THE LORAX. Bring your chairs and blankets and get comfy on the beach to watch this fun movie!
- Make sure you take a walk or ride around town and SEE WHAT'S BEYOND THE BOARDWALK!
