The Ad Hoc Tick Borne Disease Action Committee held a meeting on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the Newtown Senior Center, 14 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook, CT
MINUTES
Present: Mark Alexander, Kirk Blanchard, Neil Chaudhary, David Delia, Mary Gaudet-Wilson, Peter Licht, Michele McLeod, and Kim Harrison; Absent: Robert Grossman, George Miller and Maggie Shaw; Also Present: Pat Boily.
Dr. McLeod convened the meeting at 8:05 p.m.
Approval of Minutes: Dr. Licht motioned to approve the minutes of December 15, 2010. Mr. Alexander seconded the motion. The minutes were approved as amended.
The vote on the Additional Recommendations for Deer Section will be completed once Dr. Chaudhary updates this section with changes.
Final Report - Review Speaker Summaries
The committee reviewed the following speaker summaries: Dr. Stafford, Pat Sesto, Dr. Pound, Dr. Rutberg, Dr. DeNicola, and Rob Sibley. The remaining summaries (Highsteads, Dr. Nelson, Dr. Ostfeld, and Donna Culbert, etc.) will be reviewed at a later date.
Dr. McLeod will forward the individual sections of the report to the clerk, Ms. Hazen. Ms. Hazen will pull the sections together and outline a draft report with consistent formatting.
Other Comments – None.
Adjournment – Dr. Chaudhary motioned to adjourn the meeting at 10:05 pm. Mr. Blanchard seconded the motion. Motion approved unanimously.
The next meeting will be held on February 2, 2011.
