THESE MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY BOARD OF SELECTMEN
The Board of Selectmen held a special meeting Friday, June 29, 2012 in the Office of the First Selectman, Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street, Newtown. First Selectman Llodra called the meeting to order at 8:20am.
PRESENT: First Selectman Llodra, Selectman William F.L. Rodgers, Selectman James Gaston, Sr.
NEW BUSINESS:
Discussion & Possible Action:
- Calling Town Meeting/adjust call to a referendum: Selectman Rodgers moved to set the Town Meeting date with the call of the meeting to act on the proposed town budget for July 10, 2012. Selectman Gaston seconded. All in favor. Selectman Gaston moved to change the call of the Town Meeting to send to referendum on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 6:00am to 8:00pm for the purpose of acting on the 2012-2013 town budget in the amount of $106,246,838. Selectman Rodgers seconded. All in favor.
ADJOURNMENT: Having no further business the Board of Selectmen adjourned their special meeting at 8:30am.
