The Board of Selectmen held a special meeting on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in the Mary Hawley Room, Edmond Town Hall, Main Street, Newtown, CT. First Selectman Herbert Rosenthal called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
PRESENT: First Selectman Herbert C. Rosenthal, Selectman William Brimmer, Selectman Joseph Bojnowski
Selectman Brimmer moved the following – RESOLVED: That the First Selectman, Herbert c. Rosenthal, is authorized and directed to file an application on forms prescribed by the Connecticut commission on Culture and Tourism for financial assistance in accordance with the provisions of C.G.S. Sec. 10-392 and C.G.S. Sec. 10-411 of the Connecticut General Assembly, in an amount not to exceed $85,000, and upon approval said request to enter into and execute a Grant contract and Preservation Restriction with the state for such financial assistance to this municipality for non-profit organization for Edmond Town Hall Kitchen Restoration, Historic HRF Grant Project. Motion seconded and unanimously carried.
Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:32 pm.
