TOWN OF NEWTOWN BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN OF NEWTOWN BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS HELD ON TUESDAY JUNE 7TH, 2007
At 6: 30 P. M., the meeting was called to order by Chair Person Carol Mattegat. Also present were Commissioners Richard Simon and Robert Connors. Also present was Captain Rios and Chief Kehoe.
Chief Kehoe presented to the Board the proposed encumbrances for FY 2006-07, listing 10 line items and justification totaling $188,619.47 which is enclosed with these minutes.
Commissioner Connors moved to approve the encumbrances as outlined and enclosed for FY 06-07. Seconded by Commissioner Simon and carried by unanimous vote.
At 6:35 P.M., Commissioner Mattegat made a motion to go into executive session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters relating to interviewing of certified officers for the position of Probationary Police Officer.
At 8: 35 P.M., Commissioner Mattegat made a motion to come out of executive session which was seconded by Commissioner Simon and carried by unanimous vote.
At 8:36 P.M., Commissioner Connors made a motion to offer a conditional offer of an employment to Adam Greco. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Simon and carried by unanimous vote.
At 8:37 P.M., Commissioner Connors made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Simon and carried by unanimous vote.
