February 25, 2013
The Newtown Pension Committee met on Monday February 25, 2013 in the lower meeting room of Town Hall South. The meeting was called to order at 7:39pm.
Present: Barbara Bloom, Frank Krasowski, Dunham Smith, Mark Korotash.
Also in attendance: Carole Ross, HR
Presentation by Westport Resources:
Westport Resources presented their report from 6/30/12 to 2/22/13. A discussion took place regarding the present investment plan and rate of return to determine short and long term strategies. Westport Resources will look at possible options and present them at a March meeting prior to the Committee meeting with the Board of Selectmen. A historic review will also be done to compare our return with the S & P.
