Signs updates: R Loring noted signs are nearly complete; snow removal will have to happen first.
Brick Sales: Over 12 sales since email message of 2/15/14!
Sending ‘thank-you’s electronically.
Cutoff date for sales that would ‘be installed’ is 4/1/14.
Eagle Scout project: Scout will not be donating the ‘Donor Board’ as planned.
Grand Opening Ceremony: 5-3-14 11 am at Old Farm Rd site (rain-date 5/4/14 1:30 PM)
Invites: K Jaeckel submitted three options, the resounding favorite was leaping dog, changes to plans will be no printed postcards, use Evites and folded cards as needed. B Yaffe will manage the E-vite portion of the project, needs email addresses by 3/12/14. B Yaffe will update FaceBook and K Simonds will send another email prior to …. G O.
Invitees: K Simonds working on list, A Mangold wants to review and add others. Due date 2/22/14. R Loring will hand address those being mailed.
Parking: Mention Reed School on the invite, use Explorer Scouts to enforce the limited access.
Timing: Mail invites by 4/7/14, RSVP by 4/28/14
Premiums: Green Dog Tags: Printing by local vendor amounts to .75 each, discussion led to majority feel it is too costly for such a small item. C Rebar looking into options likes high school printing and engraving by another. Options for another ‘token of our appreciation’ are open for discussion.
Layout: Use ribbon from small dog park over to shade structure to fence as crowd control until we
break the ribbon and let all dogs off leash for Grand Opening.
