  • LABOR DAY PARADE
The committee felt that the parade was a big success in spreading the word. Next year it was suggested that if they have vendors at the Middle school perhaps the committee should be a vendor.

  • Howl O Ween Dog party fundraiser
The committee went over what is needed; Benay Yaffe offered to get the cider and popcorn. We will bag the popcorn to pass out.
Catty Garcia will be bringing the water for the dogs and take care of registration on the day of.
There will be pink tickets given to participants when they register.
We will be selling t-shirts for $10.00; hand knitted sweaters for $20.00; bandanas for $5.00.

  • New Haunted Hayride Fundraiser
The layout and map of trail was shown. Cat Fedorchek suggested we go to Bait and Tackle to get the fish lines to hang items from the trees. And then go to Monroe Goodwill for additional Halloween supplies.
Need the port-a-potties to be moved closer to pavilion day of event.
We will have light for people waiting line and the pavilion.
5 – 6 hay bales are needed. The timing of both tractors needs to be worked out.
Still need volunteers for characters, vampires, scarecrows, zombies, cannibals, walking dead, and clowns.
Theresa Viesto went over the vision of the trail and what needs to be done.
MaryAnn Viesto will handle registration for event.
Halloween decorations were donated by Benay Yaffe and Catty Garcia.

  • New Business
Cat Fedorchek suggested we contact Newtown Youth and Family Services about their Holiday event at Edmond Town Hall.

Meeting ended with Cat, MaryAnn, Theresa, and Rose Ann walking the trail to check out how dark it will be and what is needed.

Respectfully
