Minutes of Board of Directors Emergency Meeting
December 27, 2012, 2012 – 12:00PM

Members Present: Jesse Rosenschein, Rick Child, Rosalie Newman, David Moseman, Maureen Birden, Tom Murtha, Ashley Mele, Susan Giglio, Leslie Polseno, Sheilah Krashickas, Steve Meeker, Don Ramsey
Members Not Present: Diane Savinelli, Elise Trock, Karen White, Lenard Penna (Newtown PD), Jim Solomon
Staff Present: Candice Bohr, Executive Director, Jill Pluta, Clinical Director
- We met to discuss what was going on in the building from the past week and a half.
- The Board was asked to give permission for the lease next door. They gave permission. The lease will be paid from month to month, for as long as we need it.
- The board also gave Candice Bohr and Jill Pluta permission to hire anyone they thought would fit the 3-5 positions we are looking for.
- Checks made out to Caroline’s Gift will stay there and checks made out to NYFS will go into a separate fund. This account was opened on December 28, 2012. This account can be pulled at any time.
- Americares wrote a grant for $10,000 that is for operational expenses only.
- At this point we have not requested any money from United Way but they told us they would write a check at any time.
