Administrative
· Our self-study for the Council on Accreditation was accepted. In discussion with them, we have agreed to add another service standard. We will submit our documentation for the Substance Abuse service standard when we notice on who the on-site review team will be. The site visit is schedule to being July 27th.
· Our billing coordinator has moved to Maine. Sheila will continue to help out with billing and authorizations. Melanie is cutting back on her hours with her kids out of school for the summer.
· We received a certificate of recognition today from Newtown High School for “displaying outstanding leadership and commitment to the community of Newtown by providing internship and employment opportunities to the students of Newtown High School.”
· Road Race sponsorship is up to $24,553.

· Judy O’Callaghan is in Reno for The College on Problems of Drug Dependence Annual Meeting. She received a grant to attend.
Positive Asset Development
· Nicole and Tina worked their last day on Friday. Rebecca is our new job bank coordinator. She is from Newtown and will be a junior at Abbott Tech next year. She was an intern last summer through the Workforce Investment Act.
· This year we collaborated with the Career Center and will host 4 youth as summer interns through the Workforce Investment Act. The four kids will be interviewing senior citizens in town and writing a book about the stories. The youth are paid through the State of Connecticut and the Career Center at the school.
