EDMOND TOWN HALL BOARD OF MANAGERS
Special Meeting May 29, 2012
The Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers convened a Special Meeting at 7:05 P.M.
PRESENT: Chairman Jim Juliano, Karen Pierce, Tom Long, Marie Smith, Margot Hall
NOT PRESENT: Mary Fellows
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: NONE
MOTION made by Karen Pierce and seconded by Margot Hall to go into Executive Session. Motion unanimously passed.
The Board discussed a report received from a patron about several inconveniences/problems during her use of the kitchen off the Alexandria Room. Following an effort by a Board of Managers’ employee to rectify the problems, the patron did use the kitchen as planned.
The Board gave consideration as to what the remedy should be. Tom Long said that the patron had not requested specifics, such as refund of rental fee. He said that he would want to have the patron make a request.
MOTION made by Karen Pierce and seconded by Marie Smith to go out of Executive Session. Motion unanimously passed at 7:50 P.M.
MOTION made by Marie Smith and seconded by Karen Pierce to refund $55.00 (one-half) of the kitchen rental fee to the patron who held an event on April 21, 2012 in the Alexandria Room. The kitchen rental fee being $110.00. Motion voted on affirmatively by K. Pierce, M. Smith, M. Hall and J. Juliano. Tom Long voted - No. Motion passed.
MOTION made by Margot Hall and seconded by Tom Long to adjourn this meeting. Motion unanimously passed at 7:53 P.M.
