PRELIMINARY MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
William Davidson, Chairman, determined a quorum and called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 5, 2009 were reviewed. It was noted that the date on the minutes should be changed from May 4 to reflect correct meeting date which was May 5, 2009.
Motion by Brian Boodry to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 5, 2009 with correction as noted. The motion was seconded by Arthur Niedzielski and carried unanimously.
William Davidson suggested that a preliminary copy of the minutes of our monthly meetings be posted by Jerry Simmons on the member-only portion of the website. A copy of the preliminary minutes will be sent with the agenda near the end of the month to all members prior to the next month’s meeting. A final copy of the official approved minutes will then be posted on the LLA and LLA member’s only website.
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
William Davidson reported that Hans Schiessl, husband of former Chairman Ann Schiessl, passed away. The members offered their condolences.
Mr. Joel Zeisler from the Leaps of Faith Water Ski Club has notified the Authority that they have decided to use an alternate site for their disabled veterans’ event and thanked the LLA for their cooperation.
William Davidson announced that the Friends of the Lake were sponsoring a Family Day on August 1st from 11:30-2:30 PM. There will be a $5 charge for a barbeque and water sport demonstrations. The event will take place at the Newtown Boat Launch with a rain date of August 2nd.
FIRST VICE PRESIDENT
William Davidson reported for Shannon Young that all regular buoys were in place. He is finalizing the paperwork to be sent to DEP for the new buoys.
Water Edge Restoration, owned by Bruce Lockhart, has been hired to set the buoys.
