Draft Minutes of the Legislative Council Ordinance Committee
The Ordinance Committee met on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the Newtown Municipal Center. Council Chairman Mary Ann Jacob called the meeting to order at 7:35 pm.
Present: Ms Jacob, Mr. Carroll, Mr. Knapp and Mr. Girgasky.
Absent: Ms. Romano and Mr. Chaudrey
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
New Business
Ms. Jacob called for nominations for Chair. Mr. Girgasky nominated Mr. Knapp. Mr. Carroll seconded. There were no other nominations. Motion passed unanimously.
Ms. Jacob turned the meeting over to Mr. Knapp. Mr. Knapp asked for a nomination for a combined position for Vice Chair and Recording Secretary. Mr. Girgasky nominated Mr. CArroll. Ms. Jacob seconded. There were no other nominations. Motion passed unanimously.
No voter comment.
Mr. Girgasky motioned to adjourn at 7:38pm. Mr. Carroll seconded.
