Draft Minutes of the Legislative Council Municipal Operations Committee
The Municipal Operations Committee met on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the Newtown Municipal Center. Council Chairman Mary Ann Jacob called the meeting to order at 7:39pm.
Present: Ms Jacob, Mr. Merola, Mr. Carroll, Mr. Amaral, , Mr. Girgasky and Mr. Honan.
Absent: Ms. Romano
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
New Business
Ms. Jacob called for nominations for Chair. Mr. Girgasky nominated Mr. Merola. Mr. Amaral seconded. There were no other nominations. Motion passed unanimously.
Ms. Jacob turned the meeting over to Mr. Merola. Mr. Merola asked for nominations for Vice Chair. Mr. Girgasky nominated Mr. Carroll. Mr. Honan seconded. There were no other nominations. Motion passed unanimously.
No voter comment.
Mr. Carroll motioned to adjourn at 7:41pm. Mr. Amaral seconded.
